Mita was an engineer and teacher by training who used to sneak in hours of arts and craft work as a personal hobby. The art work took the form of wall decor items that were adorned with ancient Indian art forms. Very soon, she realized that she had a penchant for investigating and learning about the various ancient folk art forms prevalent in India. The casual hobby turned into a passion and soon she discovered the vastness of the rich Indian heritage that majority of the world had yet to see and experience. It was fun to create artwork based on these ancient folk art forms and it became a goal to teach the next generation and the whole world about this glorious artistic heritage that originated in India aeons ago.
